Ava Bright Lee was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 5 and after years of treatment beat the cancer. Sadly after relapsing with Leukemia Cutis she passed away in January 2017. Her life and her strong and graceful battle with cancer touched so many lives, including many in China. And through her mother Esther's writings, Ava's story gained international attention.
