On April 10, 1993, a group of teenagers were walking home from a party in El, Paso, TX, when a car came up to them and opened fire. Two of the men survived and two were shot and killed. The victims were 17 year old Armando 'Mando' Lazo and 19 year old Robert 'Bobby' England.  Another teenager, 16 year old Daniel Villegas was arrested for the crime, and was sentenced to two life terms after he confessed. He later tried to recant but it was too late.  After 18 years in prison, many appeals and three trials later, Daniel was eventually found not guilty in 2018. My main source for today's episode was the documentary, A Fatal Confession: Keith Morrison Investigates.
