This episode I'm joined by Bengali animal rights activist Altab Hossain. As well as discussing the animal rights scene in Bengal and veganism's compatibility with Islam,  Altab talks honestly and openly with me about the threats of death and violence he has received from his community, his relationship with his family, his animal-killing past, and the constant danger he is in in his culture simply for speaking up for animal rights. It's fair to say, there are none more braver activists you could meet than Altab!
