As you recall Pi is exploring three world religions simultaneously. He grew up with a Hindu background though fairly light, he has learned more about Christianity with Father Martin a Catholic priest, and he met Mr. S. Kumar a Muslim baker who follows Islam. In these chapters the family gets involved along with the priest (Catholic), the pandit (Hindu), and the imam (Islam). They all meet and the adults cannot agree with each other as Pi stands strong and proceeds to participate in all three religions! His family let's their concerns go and Pi is baptized and gets his prayer rug. The next Episode will nearly finish Part One and major events in this family's life changes. Stay tuned!!
