Sometimes we don't know what to say, so we say what sounds good; but is it the best thing? Is it what offers the most comfort? Just because it's found in the Bible, it doesn't mean it needs to be said. Sometimes the best thing we can do is just be quiet and be present. Bob and his friends share moments when they have messed up, when they have been unhelpfully (even hurtfully) "comforted" by well meaning people.
