Episode 6: Jing's Glovebox Noise - In this episode of The Electrochemistry Podcast, Alex and Neil discuss grad student Jing who is a 2nd year graduate student preparing for her qualifying exam which is in 3 weeks. She is doing inorganic synthesis of a cobalt complex in a glovebox. Jing has some good results, but needs some cyclic voltammetry data. However, when she tried to perform CV experiments in the glovebox she was getting a lot of noisy data. Alex and Neil take a deep dive into what could be causing this noise. We'll finish up the podcast with a fun game of Password with special guests Tim and Courtney! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pine Research Instrumentation is a manufacturer of equipment and software designed for electrochemistry research.
