Episode 6: Mark Webber (Director)

from Great Adventures Hosted by Charles Thorp

Mark Webber is a rare breed. Every time I spent time with him I feel I walk away a better person for it. Beyond just being an accomplished actor, Mark is also a tremendous director whose latest project “The Place Of No Words” recently premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. Shot in Wales and costarring with his real life wife Teresa Palmer and real life son Bohdi, his movie blew me away. We sat down to talk about the movie, but also his family’s struggle with homelessness and the experiences on the road that made him the man that he is today. Please hit the subscribe button, leave a review on iTunes if you have the time, and let me know who you want to hear from next. Look out for upcoming episodes with director Ken Burns, activist Paul Watson, actress Rhian Ramos, director Joe Berlinger, actor Michael Kelly, CEO of Conservation International Dr. M Sanjayan, alpinist Steve House… [Recorded at Smile Radio at Smile To Go in the Freehand Hotel of New York City] CONNECT WITH US ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Charles’ Instagram / Charles’ Twitter Great Adventures Instagram / Great Adventures Twitter Mark Webber’s Instagram / Mark Webber’s Twitter CHECK OUT MARK’S WORK: “Flesh And Blood” “The Place Of No Words” PLACES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Henbant Farms (North Wales) The Bowery Hotel (New York City)
