After murdering two supervisors and warning the town to never hold another Valentine's Day dance, Warden was committed to Eastfield Mental Institution where he has remained since. But this year, the younger generation is ignoring the silly old "legend" and are preparing to to spread the love. However, a box of chocolates with a bloody human heart shows up with a dire warning: cancel the dance! Is this just a prank by town goof Howard or has Harry Warden returned? Released in the same year as Friday the 13th: Part 2 and Halloween II, My Bloody Valentine was an early entry of the blooming slasher genre of the 1980's. To curb the growing criticism against movie violence, the MPAA cut 9 minuets of footage that stayed cut until the first special edition in 2009 as Lionsgate release a remake.
