Episode 6 | Non-Profit Leaders Discuss How San Diego Gives Creates A Culture of Philanthropy
from Live Local, Give Local · host Cloudcast
In this episode of "Live Local, Give Local" listeners enjoy an excellent conversation between three non-profit leaders and early adopters of the San Diego Gives mission! Dave Mason, the Host, along with this episode's co-host, David Drazenovich, the Director of Development for Palomar Family Counseling Service, sit down with Susan Arias, the Vice President of Development for the Boys & Girls Club of Vista, Justin Buhagiar, the Business Development Manager for the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos, and DeMilo Young, the CEO & Executive Director of the BIPOC Support Foundation. We hear from each of them a snippet of the work which makes them most proud of their organizations. All we'll say is we're proud that they are part of San Diego Gives - they are doing great work! We also hear loud and clear the core message of San Diego Gives: collaboration and connection, including how these three non-profits are already collaborating. A particularly powerful moment resonated on this episode when we hear how San Diego Gives is a platform to "influence a culture of philanthropy." That made our day (and year!). Also impactful was how they see San Diego Gives as an opportunity to "re-engage donors" and as a platform to "reach out to new and younger donors." Well done, we say, to our powerful non-profit leaders! Thank you for listening and your support! Don't miss an episode, so be sure to subscribe to the show on your favorite listening app!
