Episode 6 - Preserved for Us

Each year, our family will carefully plan, plant, and protect a vegetable garden to enjoy fresh home-grown vegetables. But, if we want to enjoy home-grown vegetables all year, we must take the next step to protect them from rotting through the process of preservation. One of God’s promises is that He would preserve His Word. Through the centuries, He has protected it from decay so that it continues to be profitable for all generations. The Psalmist said, “The words of the LORD are pure words…O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”Just as God has supernaturally moved on the hearts of men to give us the Bible, He has also worked supernaturally to preserve the Bible so that we can trust completely in it. Jesus assured us, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
