Episode 6: Professor and Author Tosin Richard on self-confrontation, honesty, and how to get out of your own way

from The Humble Rising Podcast · host Arivee Vargas

Ms. OluwaTosin Adegbola, PhD, aka Dr. Tosin Richard, as she is commonly referred, has dedicated her professional life to student advocacy. She serves as a Special Adviser, in Student Leadership and Scholar Development.  Through her expertise is in public relations and higher education, she realized that out of the over 300 students and non-students who came to her each year, those seeking a shift had lost clarity of what they really wanted, and though they had the answer, they needed help uncovering them. This led to her creating The SIMPLE Blueprint, a short term coaching program where she champions and challenges people to get out of their own way and go after self-defined fulfillment. Under the pen name Tosin Richard, she is also an internationally published author in various publications, and is the author of the novel "Skinny Women are Perfect." In this episode, Tosin and I delve into her SIMPLE blueprint coaching program, requiring deep self-confrontation and honesty with one's values, the challenges to obtaining clarity on who you really are and want, and her book "Skinny Women are Perfect."    Connect with Tosin Richard on IG @thetosinrichard and @thesimpleblueprint Subscribe to this podcast and share it with a friend who needs to hear it too.  For Arivee's emails of motivation and inspiration, subscribe here.   Get your career clarity quick guide here.
