Episode 6: Scott and Shannon Wooten, 704 Shop

from Date Night with Jake and Page · host Date Night with Jake and Page

Welcome to Episode 6 of the Date Night with Jake & Page podcast! Each month we bring you a new episode where we double-date over mics and drinks with a prominent Queen City couple. In this episode you hear from Scott and Shannon Wooten of 704 Shop! Scott is one of the co-founders of 704 Shop, and you've been living under a rock if you're a Charlotte resident and aren't familiar with their products, Their iconic "704" ambigram logo is everywhere these days, and their limited-run merchandise around the Panthers' 2015-16 Super Bowl run really put them on the map. As for Shannon, aside from being Page's hair-crush (which is apparently a thing), she can be found opening up on her Instagram page (@infertilitysucksyoudont) - and on this episode - about the couple's struggle with infertility. We recorded this episode several weeks ago, and while we tried to pry it out of them then, Scott and Shannon managed to keep the news of the coming-soon, real-life, brick-and-mortar 704 Shop in South End under wraps. Fortunately for us, the official news dropped in Charlotte Agenda just before we pushed this episode live! Click here to read more: charlotteagenda.com/93230/704-shop-opening-permanent-location-south-end/. We can't thank Scott and Shannon enough for opening up to us on this episode. Between the raw, personal stories around their relationship and the start-up, entrepreneurial advice Scott shares from his 704 Shop experience, this is one podcast Queen City residents don't want to miss. Once again, big thanks to Garrett Tichy, Hygge and Richard Brooke for having us as a member of their inaugural Hygge Podcast Residency! Please subscribe, share and comment on this episode. Past shows can be found on jakeandpage.com, iTunes and wherever you get your podcasts. We live stream each episode on Facebook (Page Crawford Fox 46) and the videos are posted to youtube.com/jakefehling. Please keep the conversation going on social media using the hashtag #datenightclt. Thanks for listening!
