Episode 6: Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

from The Being On Stage Podcast · host Reggie Daughson

“I’m not good enough” “I’ll never be as good as ______” These phrases are confidence killers. We have to stop judging ourselves based on the success of others. When you say things like this you are actually making it harder to grow as an entertainer and as an artist. You have to be OK with people being better than you. There will always be someone that is better than you, has better shows, gets paid more, has more success; and you have to embrace the challenge. Stop tearing yourself down and focus on what you need to work at to get to the level of success that you desire.
