But yeah, let's just jump into the episode and for today's episode we're going to be talking about the supernatural, basically ghosts, demons, magic, powers, whatever. I don't know.
I'm out of this world. Yeah and I just wanted to talk about it for this episode. So it was my turn to come up with the idea. Show that.
So let's just jump into it. I guess I could just or you want to say something? Well I just had a question actually. Yeah.
Because like I don't see you at the like superstitious kind of person. So what made you pick the topic out of curiosity? Are you trying to make me tell you what I actually told you? I thought you were going to call me out.
I honestly forgot that you told me that. Well okay so I'll give you or I'll give our listeners my reason why I want to talk about this and then I'll give the real reason. So I don't know I just thought I have a few stories revolving around ghosts and whatnot. I just feel like it's a cool topic to talk about.
I just wanted to talk about it. But the real reason why is because I was listening to another podcast that was talking about it and I was like hey that's a good topic. We should talk about it on our show. But that podcast is actually on YouTube if you guys want to check that out too.
Because they're pretty good. They actually just started. But it's basically the YouTuber Ryan Higa. He started his own podcast now and he posts on his YouTube channel.
It's called Off the Pill. At least that's what they're sticking with right now. But yeah their channel started that topic. Is he on like pills or something?
He takes like 80d pills. He actually has like 80d or something like that. Okay. We're going off topic here now.
No I wanted to. Yeah. Do you believe in ghosts? I do and I don't.
For me. In places like California it doesn't seem like spooky. But when I was living in the Philippines, man if you ask me that question, hell yeah. There's some spooky shit going on.
Well yeah sorry didn't mean to cut you off. No no worries. Like you said earlier you didn't expect me to be like the whole superstitious type. Yeah.
Right. We're Filipino. Like all Filipinos are superstitious as fuck. Like they have hell superstitious like don't cut your nails at night.
Yeah. Don't hammer the wall at night. Basically don't do anything at night. Hammer the wall?
I didn't know about that. Yeah well my parents always told me don't nail the walls at night. Or whatever. Why would you do that night though?
Because apparently ghosts will come visit you if you were a socks to bed. I don't know. That's weird. Well I guess the hammering since we didn't really go over what that meant.
Supposedly it just like you're being loud at night so you're like waking up to ghosts or some shit like that. I'm just waking up your paper. Yeah. Or probably they probably just didn't want to be annoyed.
Like my parents in general just like oh don't fucking nail shit. Okay. Cause they're trying to sleep. Yeah.
But yeah so you do and you don't believe in ghosts. If I'm in an area that I feel like is prominent to like ghosts and stuff then I guess the doubt will start to set in and be like okay I probably should follow the superstitions and not do certain stuff. Like over here I've got my nails at night before. But like when I was like nope can't do it.
Like you definitely don't want to do it over there. No. The cutting the nails too at night that's supposedly shorting your life. That's why you're not supposed to do it at night.
Yeah. Yeah. So if you've been doing it here you're shorting your life bro either way. Here or there whatever don't cut your nails at night.

No but I mean I'm kind of the same way too. No I don't. Like when I was a kid obviously you know your imagination runs wild and when you hear all these ghost stories you're just like oh shit yeah they're real you know you're just your brain's just telling you like yes yes they're real they're real and then as you grow older like by the time I got to high school obviously I became more mature and I started to think more logically so whenever I would hear like ghost stories I would be like well maybe it was just the wind. Yeah there's like a lot of rationalization.
There's got to be a reason for why that happened. But I don't know I still kind of do believe in it. Like I guess on the same way like here in Lightthrop or where we live you know it's like a fucking small-ass town like what ghost is going to come here right. Like if it's summer I don't know like the streets of LA or some shit like maybe maybe like I don't know hook or some shit hook or ghost but yeah have you ever I don't want to interrupt you but did you ever like see dead people shit when you were a kid like that's what I was actually about to ask you.
Yeah supposedly you did yeah it was back when I think I was like five or six and we still had that house in Union City the one that everyone in our family like practically lived in the blue one. Just as yeah just as an actual house or their house or like I said yeah yeah yeah we'll get to that story eventually. Yeah so I don't know it was some party some typical Filipino family party that we always have and you know how the master bedroom was on the first floor yeah yeah so and that was like the room that all the kids pretty much hung out in. Yeah we were hanging out in there I guess it was me my brother my sister I think Arthur Dan Arthur Janessa and someone else I forgot who but basically what happened I guess was it was kind of getting towards the end of the party we're all kind of getting ready to leave and then I think my brother my sister and other man left the room or were leaving the room and I was just standing there just staring into the room and I think Arthur Janessa was on the bed doing something on the bed and then she says that she looked at me and was like what are you looking at and then I said grandpa's there but you know our grandpa was dead at this time yeah so she's just like what what the fuck are you talking about I'm just like Grandpa grandpa's right there when they tell me this I kind of do vaguely remember that scene in my head like I remember looking into the room remember other than us standing on the bed and then me just looking at some figure like standing behind her yeah like I can seriously remember that like I'm not trying to make this up right yeah so they told you that it's not like you were called it on your own yeah they told me that but as they told like you know well but since they told you that you've kind of like I can't remember yeah and then I remember too like after the fact so they all ran out like scared screaming and then everyone like all the ants on goes like what's wrong like what's wrong and they're saying like Kyle Kyle's all grandpa like he saw a ghost something something and then like I think all the ants on goes like oh no you know he's just a kid whatever and I just remember too like as we're leaving the whole time I was just saying bye to grandpa like he was still there yeah I was like bye grandpa bye and everyone's just like oh Kyle you're so funny you're such a kid and my parents yeah they're all like get out of here get out of here like my parents like pulling a cockamaw let's go call priest no but yeah I remember seeing grandpa supposedly yeah yeah yeah you've never seen a ghost or no no but I do remember like being younger I was always afraid of mirrors especially like at nighttime I remember we're at the Genesis house I guess and we're sleeping over I forgot why and we were sleeping I guess in her room and I think she was on the bed and then you and I were on the floor but um to not remember this I don't know but okay yeah I think it's off the Genesis house but anyways like we're sleeping over somewhere you know again family party same situation and I remember asking you if we can like switch places because I was sleeping next to the mirror and okay no I think I remember and I remember you asking you to switch places yeah I was like I asked you if we can switch and you ask me why I was like I just have a bad feeling I want to sleep next to a mirror and you're like yeah sure whatever I can kind of like brush it off and then like other than that instance like I know growing up even now sometimes I'm still that way wherein I go to the bathroom at night I won't look in the mirror like even if the lights on yeah even if the lights on like I'll just like all I mean now I'll glance up and look at it but before I would completely just keep my eyes down like like if it's at nighttime you just won't look at the mirror at all yeah cuz I always feel like you look good going to bed I mean we're not actually looking good yes no what gets me those like cuz I feel a presence behind me at night a little bit really yeah like I feel like I'm being watched sometimes and I feel like if I look in the mirror I'm gonna see something and the thought that scares me so I just don't do it have you ever done like the whole Bloody Mary thing I try like I tried to know what that is yeah like I went to the bathroom and I was like whoa no can't do it I'm sure our listeners know what Bloody Mary is right we don't need to explain that I'm not gonna explain it you can type it out in the description if you want I'm not gonna say it it's not to me so if you guys don't know Bloody Mary basically is a ghost or some demon that you call can you put your phone on silent bro is that me yeah that's you come on professional yeah yeah the why you say that on your you know yeah now I'm just gonna believe that just leave that part in so yeah anyway we're talking about oh Bloody Mary yeah so essentially if you say it you're supposed to go into the bathroom turn off the lights say it three times no instructions man no yeah guys go home tonight go into your bathroom close the door turn off the lights set the mood just right right and then say it three times and she's supposed to show up let us know though if it happens please comment down below yeah I don't think I've ever done it either I know I've tried I can't I don't know why people even try it I don't know who started it yeah like how close have you gone to actually like doing it I said it two times and then on the third sounds on the playback you know don't okay now I'm not gonna want to edit this podcast now I'll be editing this a load at night one day and then as you say that I'm just gonna hear in the back I'll write some shit dude that that's what frees me out to you is like movies that like paralyzed I mean I'm sure like it's not like the best war movie and stuff like that or even suspense whatever but like the fact that they kind of do a good job of making it plausible oh we're just happening recording so like to happen to record this particular thing in a room yeah and then some shit happens it's like fuck man I don't know like yeah oh actually it's a good thing you brought that up I remember this one time back in high school it was October right so Halloween marks and actually it was I believe it was Halloween and these two girls from my high school asked me to go watch paranormal activity with them and me yeah for context I put my arms up like you're putting them around two girls yeah so I was like fuck it like I hate scary movies like even till today yeah I'm sort of getting better but I know it's fake I just don't like them okay don't judge me yeah what's funny is I always thought you were more braver than I was as a kid I am fuck you so in my mind I'm like dude two girls want to watch a movie with me I'm down right try to go tonight so I went to the movie theaters they were already there I met up with them and the movie had already started I think because they texted me late for whatever reason so I was just like fuck it I'll go they got you a ticket no they were just like hey how much paranormal activity with us we're over here so I was like oh shit okay fine whatever so I go I get my ticket they're already inside I'm texting them outside I'm like hey were you guys sitting and then they're not responding to the movie or are you playing yeah so they're not responding and like I said I'm scared of scary movies so I don't want to go in there just yet so I was like fuck like what I do what I do I'm already here I bought the ticket there's two girls waiting for me I gotta get in there I just I walk in I'm like literally covering my eyes like I don't want to see anything scary I'm like walking in and I look thankfully they're like in the front row like I look I see them and they see me they're like waving me down oh shit cool I sit next to them in the middle and then no I know they didn't say you see in the middle of those bestes no but so I sit next to one of them and we're watching it and the whole time I was watching I'm just like I can't believe I'm here like why am I watching I think it was like two or three one of them apparently I like to be either way so we watched it we watched the whole movie afterwards we went to I think Chili's eight there and then after that I just went home I don't I think about this like now till this day I don't know why I did not invite them over because here's the thing I was home alone that whole weekend oh my god every guy that's listening I was like you fucking idiot you had a chance to ride a bicycle I really did I know I fucked it up I know you oofed it bad I might cut this part out you should throw the internet's gonna destroy you now fucking I'll leave it in so yeah I didn't tell them to come back with me for stupid I'm scared no but so that's things I went back home by myself yeah right and it's late at night and it's Halloween my parents are gone I think they went to we know that weekend or whatever so I was watching house and I'm just you know in my room my dog Luigi has to go outside he's telling me like bro I gotta go pee I'm just like god damn it Luigi seriously right now I think it was like midnight to fuck yeah I was like really bro like right now you have to go pee and of course you know me being the good dog owner I you know let him out I go to the back door or the back kitchen sliding door open it up turn on the light and then as soon as I open the door up and the lights turned on Luigi's just standing at the door and like we'll not go out and I'm just like dude what are you doing like go you said you had a pee like fucking go right he's like literally stand there and staring off into the darkness like just staring and then like I'm looking at him and I see where he's looking I look up pitch black I'm just like what the fuck are you looking at right now and I swear to you he starts barking and I'm just like oh hell no I just like close the door lock everything pick his ass up run back to my room like no if you got a pee drop your pee in my room we are not going out there fuck yeah I mean it could have been like a natural robber or like another animal or something yeah but because I just watched paranormal activity I automatically assumed nope that's a spirit it's a demon some ghosts we're going to bed do you remember that you were told me the story about you and your brother watch signs oh yeah at late at night or some shit yeah and I think I think we watched it again because I hadn't seen it but I think you guys rented it or you had it and we watched it again and then I remember thinking like I think I stepped over the like at your house or really case maybe like I remember at night hearing shit I wish you never told me that fucking story wait I thought you said you watched it though with us no I did well you told me a story how you and your brother watched it first time because I think you when I watched it with you guys it was a you guys were re-watching it you told me that you guys are going home or whatever and you heard the bushes move or something because it was like late at night I guess I don't know if you're trying to scare me or not but you did oh no no I know what you're talking about yeah because the house that I used to live in we had right next to our front door was like a big-ass shrubbery and I remember me my brother we walked up to the door and he's trying to unlock the door and then we just started hearing shit in there and I was like hurry up hurry up there's a fucking alien right down here but yeah that was basically it yeah since you told me that story and then I watched it I think with you guys because I think I was staying over that should scared me and I can't sleep at night leave a like I remember because I stayed up the whole night yeah like I didn't go to sleep yeah I watched the sunrise it was beautiful but I had no sleep I was fucking terrified yeah do you like back in Vegas when you used to live in Vegas did any of your friends like know of any haunted spots or anything like you're a high school age group I guess or whatever your generation your generation my generation our generation did you guys ever like do any of that like oh this spot's haunted let's go over there and like check it out and shit no I mean there were like a few local folk tale like cinos had like haunted rooms and stuff I mean it's cuz you know who fucking gives a shit right like so no not really but like I mean even if there was I would be like no you're missing with otherworldly beings purposely that's not gonna end well cuz I can only reference like movies because like in the sense of okay well if there is a ghost I physically can't harm it like I need spiritual powers I'm not priest I don't got shit oh got shit dude so like I'm gonna get fucked if I remember attacked by a ghost yeah so like when it comes to going through with that kind of thing I can't just cuz it's like I don't what can I do you know if I had a way to defend myself sure I had like a ghost gun or something I got a ghost gun or like a fucking bitch it from Ghostbusters yeah yeah what about you you ever you ever had like a haunted spot like yeah no um did you ever do a test of courage no I never did but we did have a spot back where I used to live at in Tracy yeah in Tracy I didn't want to say where but okay we're in Tracy huh where the spot was a bands in in Tracy supposedly that spot is that it's like in like the boonies of Tracy no Ellen I went in about but supposedly that spot is haunted as fuck and I just remember back in high school everyone talked about it like always go to dance in tonight or whatever and check out the ghosts and stuff they always said there was stuff happening there I think like picture frames of move for no reason and of course me I didn't want to go but I've always heard stories like people going there and them seeing should happen and I'm just like well that's crazy I wanted to go I just was too much of a pussy though would you and never went like would you still do that now not bad to end but like if you had the opportunity to go like I don't know like a haunted house like a legitimately documented house not like a Halloween one yeah yeah yeah like oh you know this house was like there's been instances where people have said something has happened no you want to know it's someone's a you know like what would be the bottom dollar if someone was gonna make a dollars seriously million bucks yeah not like that's your realistic price no realistic price because yes I do and do not believe in ghost but with me how I am with thinking as soon as I think of something like I pretty much like the movie inception I insept my own mind like as soon as I plant that idea in my head it grows it's just yeah yeah and I believe it so I could go into a haunted house the legit haunted house this is my thinking I could go into a legit haunted house and as soon as I step in there if something happens I'm just already in my mind nope nope I'm possessed I'm gonna be haunted forever and just gonna grow and grow and just get worse yeah or I guess the opposite I could go in there something happens I could try to explain it logically and try my best to like yeah that idea it's my head that no this is what's happening this is the logical reason but you know I believe fear plays more yeah than logic when it comes to that so yeah I'm even more scared than try to think logically but like for example there's that one I don't know where it's at but like the whole anago doll like how that there's like a legit sorry yeah yeah and how it's like locked up and shit like you could go see it like I would never want to do that no because yeah as far as ghosts go I believe more in possession than ghosts basically I was like a human being like being taken over by a demon or some shit yeah I believe in that more than actual ghosts for whatever reason because in my mind ghosts are you know people who've passed on like yeah like our grandpa or oh okay so it's more of not a like negative being yeah you know where demons are straight up yeah demons evil and shit yeah if I were to see a ghost I would probably put it in my mind like oh it's just some person who passed away in is now walking our land or whatever reason you know ghosts in walking our lands have you seen cocoa yet on Netflix no oh is this really good or are you trying to say wait until that no I just wanted to bring it up because it's about not ghosts but you know it's about day of the dead for the nx and stuff yeah like it's a really good yeah like I actually enjoyed it thoroughly and the animation's amazing yeah and like the color scheme and everything's just beautiful off the watch it sometimes yeah you it's on Netflix you should watch it everyone else to watch that movie it's really good they just doesn't need to make a film movie now they already got like every other and they're trying to plug or podcast or something yeah we're sponsored by Disney now no gonna possess you now and the person's gonna get possessed it's like good I'm ready to die like pretty much like take me you know like I don't care and the demons like what like no like take me take me now you know like I wish I had to think of it like that just like if I were to get possessed like okay you know what I can't do nothing go ahead bro do whatever you want with my body I'm just gonna sit back let you pile it from now you know it gets relaxed but that means that would you ever do like a Ouija board or like a seance okay so or anything my mind my way of thinking is weird like yeah I believe more in demons than ghosts but I honestly believe the Ouija board is fake as fuck like I don't believe in that shit doing all that okay you know what about if someone came to you like legitimately looked up a virtual on how to summon a demon would you like would you partake no why the fuck would I want to oh and ask the dude why do you want to summon it like just test the courage single shit like oh no I'm calling the cops on that dude I'm calling the church on that dude calling the Vatican Pope Francis we got this dude that's trying to summon a demon like can y'all do something send down the angels or some shit I don't know I need Jesus no I would never want to do that no yeah no if anybody listeners know how to know there was actually he was in true detective I think it was true detective where I guess they find a room full of like demon riding on the wall and she like shit like that's what scares me for whatever reason like I go to a house either for a friend or purchasing it and I just discover that shit dude shit like that seriously but what if it was just like some kid refeeding it in the house I mean that kid's got some serious fucking issues he's gonna defeat something at least he dropped it or whatever yeah oh so as we were saying as kids we tend to leave and ghosts more you know and they've always said that kids actually can see ghosts yeah you know a lot of people say like yeah kids can see like I just told you guys a story about how I saw our grandpa and then there was one time where it was back at Jessica's house in Mexico the big one yeah the big one yeah it was back at that house and there was a prayer there for our listeners who aren't Filipino we do a lot of prayers yeah it's a thing yeah it's a typical prayer thing but anyways we're at we're at the prayer and you know how just house was before she had the altar was at the front door and then there's a stairs if you're looking at the altar coming in from the front door there's a stairs to the right and it's all open it's all overlooking so the stairs to the right to go up to the second floor and then you can see down to the front door right so when we were praying all the adults will be down by the front door looking at the altar doing the prayer whereas all the kids would be upstairs just looking down so we were all upstairs and I believe it was our cousin's daughter who was sitting next to me and I think my brother and Jessica and we were praying at night for some odd reason because we usually pray during the day but we were praying at night for whatever reason and I would just remember looking at our cousin's daughter and she's just staring into one of the rooms because the door was open and because it was at night the room was dark and she was just staring straight into there and then I just remember tapping Jess like to do look at her like what is she looking at and then Jess looks and she's like what is she looking at or is it I don't know and we tried to like you know tell her like hey what are you doing but she would not but she would just be staring straight at the door and then eventually this is Kyla and it goes Kyla when she was still a baby yeah and then I think as soon as they were done praying is when she finally like kind of snapped out of it and then just went about her normal babyish things yeah she was just staring straight into the door and we were just like what the fuck yeah I don't know maybe because I think the prayer was for Grandpa or whatever grandpa is because I think grandma was still at the time but I think the prayer was was was for grandpa so maybe she saw him that time yeah or something like that even though she never met him but you know but yeah I mean I believe even though I don't technically believe in ghosts I do believe kids can see something yeah you know what I guess the reason why I believe in ghosts and everything it's more like again if the settings allow for it I do feel like it can open something obviously praying at night and everyone being in a rhythmic yeah yeah like kind of you know or in that same kind of tone basically doing a seance yeah like and then just being a child yeah like I'm sure you would see some shit what's funny is since we're talking about this apart of me like I started thinking I kind of do you want to see a ghost do I kind of do want to do a test encourage oh I kind of want to go to the bands in but but honestly at this point now I think they just turn that thing into an attraction and I just set up shit to like make it into shit yeah well that's it yeah but no I mean pardon does think about like doing test the courage and everything like that yeah but at the same time it's like oh no I mean it puts you out yeah what do you what do you think about like the ghost shows and shit like all those ghost hunters and stuff you see on TV I mean I think for me I think it's because of the way it's like edited it just looks fucking cheesy right and like hell of a yeah well I feel like if you were to do it yourself yourself and you kind of like because my problem with those shows is they always set up as oh this place has been documented already yeah it's like I feel like that just kind of leads to okay they're obviously gonna it's a show they're gonna have to put stuff in there to make it look like stuff's happened but I feel like if you were to take the same thing you grab you know two three four your buddies camera the same gear and you just go without prefacing it in any sort of way and shit does happen at that time but that bro like what one else about to die like because I just I recently I was on Facebook and I saw this video or was it Facebook or 9Gag I think it was 9Gag but this is video of like a ghost hunter and I click on the clip to hear the audio because there were subtitles but basically what happened was they were in some building some haunted building supposedly and the ghost hunters like you guys feel that there's a ghost right here right now in our presence it's super cold out here because you know they say like if there's a ghost present it's like really cold yeah yeah so he's like like there's a ghost right here and then the dude one of the dudes is like bro you're standing under the vent and the camera guy looks up to the vent and looks back out with the ghost and he's just like like cut cut cut cut cut cut I think it was fake like it was supposed to be funny but it's just shit like that you know I think it's like the whole placebo effect oh like if you plant the idea yeah or yeah basically if people like inception if you plant that idea of course they're gonna believe it right you just you just have to think logically like it has to be reasons for why things happen right that being said if you like obviously you know you answered earlier that you wouldn't do a test courage but let's say you did and you had a choice of either going to like a haunted house a graveyard or like a rundown psychiatric hospital so all these places are haunted basically yeah like out of those three which one would you are you most likely to do a graveyard just if i were to see something it'd probably be just one of the dead people there you know if i were to go to a house that could be a demon or some shit psychiatric place same thing or at least a crazy patient yeah like once i'm just thinking movie plot wise right i mean you just want to have to you know like i think kind of how to like when it comes back or something like i think that way yeah yeah go to the one that's least likely to hurt you of course some shit right there was this one time back at the old house where i used to live in Tracy again we changed our flooring our flooring we changed our floor is from carpet to wood at least downstairs and when people would walk downstairs you could hear them obviously because it's wood right it would creak and stuff like that i hate that sound but for whatever reason every time at night because this was also during the time when my parents worked so i was always home alone during high school world for most of my high school career and career what else am i supposed to say during my high school years well i guess i could have said that whatever shut up kind of be professional and smart so every single time i was home alone and i'd be upstairs in my room i would always hear footsteps downstairs no matter what like and it wasn't Luigi no because he was in my room he would be with me and every time i heard it i'd get so scared and like i would come out my room look down the stairs and just like wait like i know someone's there like it wasn't me thinking there's ghosts honestly it was me thinking someone's in our house right now trying to rob us so i would always like look out look down the stairs or get out of the room look down the stairs and just sit there and wait i'm like i know you fuckers are in here just walk by the stairs so i could scream and call the cops you know but nothing never so then why nobody now maybe it was ghosts you know and it just always scared the shit out of me because you could just hear the creaking and it's straight up sounding like someone's walking downstairs and you know thinking back trying to think logically like i don't know maybe it was just the air in our house somehow that the pressure whatnot you know made the floors creak maybe in a certain way but no it was it was ghost it was a ghost for sure name of all of a sudden the police there it was like oh jesus is with me let me ask you this then since we're talking about the whole supernatural shit what about fortune tellers how do you how do you feel about them like do you believe in the whole psychics and shit like that well honestly no just because i've read like i guess i've read articles and like books and stuff regarding that and there is a technique that they use it's called like barram like barram statements i think i don't and all that so on and so forth and when they were going around spreading their faith i'm pretty sure one reason or one tactic that they used is fear and obviously a great way to scare somebody is like oh yeah these people their vampires will drink your blood and then you'll fucking turn into a demon i'm pretty sure since no one was smart back then and someone told me that she'd be like fuck i don't want to get a vampire i don't want to turn into a demon i better become a catholic like boom easy conversion you know so i mean i feel like that's where vampires kind of got that was just like the church or maybe some like religious institutes trying to instill fear into a group of people to get them to convert and that fear just spread out to be like just that fear just continued to spread so but yeah it's my theory of vampires about zombies oh no zombies are not so scared of but that's because i play too many like zombie shooters and i feel like i can take them so everyone said yeah but then but then it was like you're gonna be like the first one yeah would you ever want like a zombie apocalypse to happen no do you no no no because i mean i want to shoot somebody i know that i
