Episode 6: What does it mean that we have been crucified with Christ?

John and Mark are starting a new 4-episode series discussing the truth that in Christ, we have been crucified, buried, risen, and ascended with Christ. In this episode, John and Mark discuss passages that speak to the fact that we, as Christians, have been crucified with Christ. What does that mean? How is that possible? How does this apply to our everyday Christian life? Paul teaches that Christ not only died on the cross for us but we died with Him and we are alive in Christ. Christ didn't come to patch-up or polish our old man, He came to die that we might have eternal, abundant, and victorious life in Him. Mark mentions a book by FJ Huegel, called "Bone of My Bone." John and Mark discuss from Huegel's book that in Christ we are dead to sin, we have died to the world, we have died to party spirit, and in Christ we have died to the law.
