On this episode of The Fanboy Garage, we welcome special guests Rick Shew and Ryan Hoss of Batman on Film to discuss all the latest news that dropped from D23 this past weekend. Before jumping into things, we close the books on Spider-Man or rather Sony and Disney did as the two studios couldn't come to an agreement to keep our friendly neighborhood wall crawler in the MCU. We also take on listener questions about what films we think are "perfect" and the likelihood of R-rated content popping up on Disney+. But enough of all that. We finally bring on Rick and Ryan to discuss all things D23. From Black Panther II to She-Hulk and more, we briefly highlight all of the Marvel announcements Disney rolled out during the event before moving into the meat and potatoes of the episode...STAR WARS!!! That's right! We unpack and discuss our reactions to the Mandalorian trailer, confirmation that an Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+ is DEFINITELY on the way and we dig in to our excitement for the Rise of Skywalker. Things get crazy in the discussion when it's revealed that Vader exposes himself to Luke and we explore several theories around the fate of Rey in the final movie of the Skywalker Saga!
