Bill served as president of Spindrift, an organization devoted to the scientific study of the power of prayer and remote healing, for four years. He and Nancy discuss Spindrift's findings that prayer has direct, scientifically verifiable results in "healing" stressed organisms such as mung beans, soy beans, yeast, plants and bacteria. Furthermore, according to Bill, the results of prayer seem to be amplified with the number of people praying and type of prayers offered. He warned that the Western world seems to be oblivious to the prayers of militant radical Islamic organizations such as those involved in the terrorist attacks on 9/11.
