Episode 60 "Middle-earth, Masterpieces & Meltdowns"

This week on the podcast, we dive into two huge topics. First, we explore the buzz surrounding a potential Lord of the Rings RPG—fans have dreamed of this for decades, and though it’s not officially announced yet, developers are working on it alongside a third Kingdom Come Deliverance game. Then, we break down Sony’s bold move to keep their single-player masterpieces locked to PlayStation, sidelining PC players. And we’re thrilled to welcome Julian, the solo developer behind Particulitix—a pixel art game that fuses the nostalgia of Galaga with the roguelike charm of Vampire Survivors. Julian shares his inspiration, the evolution of his pixel world, and what it means to bring a dream project to life. Don’t miss this inspiring journey!
