Episode 60 - Sell 'Em to The Royals

from Angry Algorithms / @AngryAlgorithms · host William Brennan

The duo opens discussing the Oprah interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Billy reveals that the most riveting revelation is that the Royal Family is racist. They contemplate if the negativity surrounding Meghan and Harry is just a smoke screen for Prince Andrew’s controversial relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. They go deeper, cracking on King Philip equating him to stale bread and a whole plethora of hysterical analogies. After going through some royal history- touching on the abdication, Prince Charles, and the hypocrisy of the Royal Family they agree that it is just “rich people problems” and as Americans why should we care? Funny chat about the Sheela Na Gig, which are ancient artifacts and carvings of women with huge labia that are being pulled opened as if swallowing the world. These images are being banned in some societal circles while women are embracing them as “big vagina energy” juxtaposed to “big dick energy.” Bill brings up a story of man that killed his wife on Christmas Eve to then prop her dead body on the couch wearing sunglasses to “watch” her children open their gifts. After going through the details of the story they equate it to a Weekend at Bernie’s scenario. The Chris Watts feature on Netflix comes up “American Murder” and they go into family men who kill their children but, not without some joking. Papa John former owner admits that he has tried to rehab himself from the “N” word for the past 20 months. The pair bust on him and suggest that all Papa John’s locations have an incident report hanging on their walls stating zero days since the racial slur was spoken. Segway into Myers Leonard of the Miami Heat’s recent drama where he is playing Call of Duty and uses a Jewish racial slur. How this is potentially a career ending snafu and how he claimed to not know the meaning. Other laughable content and subjects are ESPN bringing ice hockey back unicycling accidents, the Corona-versary, and the cancellation of Pepe Le Pew.

1994 Harmless Entertainment 1994 is a road-trip comedy set in the spring of, you guessed it, 1994. It follows the adventures of High School junior Scott Sweet and his friends as they attempt to escape the boredom of their dead-end, small-town Arizona suburb by skipping school to go to Disneyland, deliver 20lbs of marijuana to L.A., team up with a bank robber on the lam, escape from angry unpaid mechanics, make a side trip to Las Vegas, accidently take peyote with a traveling band of hippies, avoid the cops, get laid, convince their parents not to ground them when they get home and maybe, just maybe, score enough money to take his high school crush to the prom.
