United Nations revised India's 2024 growth projection to 6.9%, up from earlier estimates, driven by strong public investment and resilient private consumption. The forecast for 2025 is 6.6%. On other hand forecast for the US economy is 2.3% growth in 2024, an upward revision of 0.9 percentage points since January. China's growth is projected to be 4.8% in 2024, slightly up from earlier estimates but down from 5.2% in 2023.
