VC United Director Eric Schulze sits down with Coach Adam and discusses the awesome new opportunity by joining with League One Volleyball. League One Volleyball (LOVB, pronounced “love”) is a first-of-its-kind community re-imagining the future of volleyball. We are launching our professional league from the grassroots up – each pro team built from a foundation of ambitious junior volleyball clubs located across the country. By joining the LOVB family, junior volleyball clubs around the country expand opportunities for their athletes, including: Holistic athlete training resources covering mind, body, and craft, as well as life skill development support beyond the sport Scholarships to significantly increase player access to the sport National-level recruiting platform that empowers athletes to choose their perfect college home based on their personal educational and athletic goals New pathway to career opportunities at the Pro level in the US Access to expert pro league coaches and unique mentorship, networking with pro players A lifelong LOVB community with resources to support each other in volleyball and in life Eric spent 17 years with Club Fusion Volleyball where he served as the General Manager as well as the Director of Coaching & Player Development at the club's Marengo location. He began his career in 1997 at Sky High Volleyball in Crystal Lake. With ten top 5 finishes in the 18 Open division, Schulze has coached over 180 Division I athletes in his career. He is currently in his 3rd season as the Varsity coach at Woodstock North High School and has stints at Johnsburg, Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake), and Huntley. He lives in Wonder Lake, IL with his wife, Katie, and two daughters, Kylie (14) and Devynn (12) who are both aspiring volleyball players. Enjoy the Show!
