Episode 60: We Need Each Other

📖 Exodus 17:8–13In Exodus 17, the Israelites were in a battle against the Amalekites. Moses went up on a hill to watch the fight, and God gave him a strange instruction — as long as Moses kept his hands lifted, Israel would win.So he raised his hands — but after a while, they got heavy. His arms started to shake. Every time he lowered them, the enemy began to win again.That’s when two men — Aaron and Hur — stepped in. They brought a rock for Moses to sit on and stood on either side of him, holding up his hands. And as long as they held him up, the Israelites kept winning.What a picture of what faith looks like when we’re tired. Because let’s be honest — sometimes we all get weary. We want to pray, believe, and keep fighting, but our arms feel too heavy.That’s when God sends people — friends, family, church — to lift us up. And sometimes, we’re the ones called to lift someone else.We were never meant to do life alone. The victory didn’t come because Moses was strong — it came because he had help.
