Dan Staton and I were able to share a camp together for the first time in South Texas this fall. We joined up with another mutual friend and Pnuma Recon Team Member Chad Alan Jones for a few days of bowhunting on the Cinco Cuernos Ranch. You never know what kind of mindset or belief system a hunter from another region of the country might have, but Dan and I hit it off immediately. We get a passionate Western big game hunter’s take on South Texas whitetail culture and management…one can imagine it had to be quite the culture shock for a predominantly public land archery hunter. Also, late season Arizona archery elk tags, the mental game that is bow hunting, fitness, positivity, Elk Shape camps and much more! Check out the Elk Shape Podcast or sign up for an Elk Shape Camp here. (Dan with the bruiser he arrowed on our Pnuma team hunt in South Texas) (Dan living that daily Elk Shape lifestyle)
