When we are children, life is full of firsts. First tastes. First attempts. First discoveries. First glorious failures. But somewhere along the way, we become competent at being ourselves. We know what we like, what we don’t like, what we’re good at and how we prefer to do things. And perhaps, without even realising it, we begin closing a few doors. In this episode of Salt, Sage & Stardust, we explore what happens when we become willing to open some of them again and experiencing something for the ‘first time’. Not because we need another hobby. Not because we need to challenge ourselves, reinvent ourselves or become better versions of ourselves. Simply because there is something about experiencing a first that gets our attention.
