This is a collection of poetry about the about the Colorado Coal strike of 1913 and the ensuing 1914 Ludlow Massacre.  I first came across her book when I was watching a PBS documentary about the massacre, wherein her book was quoted throughout.  The heartbreaking tragedy is brought to life in Eleanor's book.
