Sam studies the human health impacts of accelerating disruptions to Earth’s natural systems, a field recently dubbed Planetary Health. He is a Principal Research Scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and is the founding Director of the Planetary Health Alliance (www.planetaryhealthalliance.org). Warren and Sam will discuss the impacts of human activities on the health of the planet, including climate impacts and global food production, and how we will have to change the way we manage our impacts on the planet and our food production systems in particular.
