Episode 62: Pōmaikaʻi — Recognizing the Blessings Around Us 🌺

In today’s Aloha Friday episode, we explore the Hawaiian word pōmaikaʻi. While it can be translated simply as “blessing,” the meaning is much deeper   The word can be understood through its parts: Pō, meaning night or the spiritual realm, a place of origin or unseen source. Maikaʻi, meaning good, beautiful, beneficial, or excellent. Together, pōmaikaʻi reflects the idea of goodness and blessings that come into our lives — often from sources we cannot always see.   It’s a reminder to recognize the moments, people, and experiences that bring blessings and meaning into our lives.
