Episode #62: The Pit Masters - BBQ Guys

from The Patty-G Show · host Patrick D. Gremillion

This week, in our final episode of 2020, we are firing up the grills and getting down to business with The BBQ Guys. We sit down with Jason Stutes, vice president of marketing and e-commerce, to talk all things grills, branding, and different elements of marketing. While the thought of a grilling website makes sense in today's world, BBQ Guys has gone through several variations trying to find that sweet spot that makes sense. Getting started way before a majority of the game, they've been around for quite some time. Over the course of the life of the company, there has been challenges, setbacks, but also major successes. One of those successes was a recent acquisition to an investment firm. However, their story started in 1998 with the first version of their website. Overtime they began to manufacture their own line of grills and equipment, which turned into the creation of their own manufacturing side of the company. We explore the depths of business, analytics, and grills throughout the episode, enjoy!
