Episode 62 In 2007 Clinical Social Worker and Mother Kate McGoey-Smith was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, Severe Right-Sided Heart Failure & Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. She was placed on the waiting list for a lung transplant and given between 2 and 5 years to live, that was until she adopted a whole food, plant-based diet.
