Rabbi Capela's career led him to New York City, where he worked on Wall Street. However, he felt a strong pull to explore his heritage more deeply, which led him to pursue rabbinical studies—a journey that combined faith and discovery. Eventually, Rabbi Capela arrived in Greenport, where he became the spiritual leader of Congregation Tifereth Israel. Here, he started Project Genesis, an initiative that combines Jewish and Christian teachings.
