Dr. Laura is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Tennessee, Professor of Psychology, and an Approved Supervisor through the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).She has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and recently completed her PhD in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University with her research focusing on the experience of living in a healing body after sexualized violence and trauma.In 2019 while in the process of her own healing journey, Dr. Laura co-founded the Religious Trauma Institute with the hope of educating clinicians, coaches, and other healers as well as advocating for victims of religious trauma.
