After learning to love the world of protecting humans from human-wildlife conflict, Carel came up with a groundbreaking strategy to use thermal imaging drones to push elephants away from human habitation and crops. While not a hunter, his pragmatism is infectious and he puts some nuggets of wisdom out there on the reality of what is happening on the ground in Tanzania.
