Episode 63: Do What You Can, While You Can with Dr. Tamara D. Bowles

Dr. Tamara Bowles is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and grew up in Pensacola, Florida. She later moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where she completed high school and attended college. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, in September 2019 and has been there ever since. Dr. Bowles enjoys being around people and working with scholars of all ages. Her experiences range from Nursing to Education. Around 2005, she switched careers and became involved in education, and has been in the education field for over 17 years. As an educator, she understands and values the importance of education, and has had the opportunity to pour her expertise onto students all across the world. She not only taught abroad but supervised other teachers while she was there to help make them better. Dr. Bowles has been blessed to start two businesses - one in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the other in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition, she manages trust funds for autistic scholars. She's served as the President/CEO of Building Your Future Consulting LLC, and the President/Chair of Building Your Future Consulting#1. Both companies specialize in assisting students with standardized tests such as, ACT/SAT/PSAT/GED/GRE/GMAT prep. Dr. Bowles has authored two books, “Cleaning Out My Garden” and “Under the Doctoral Hat."
