10/12/12 - The Skeptical Psychic Nancy du Tertre, a psychic detective and host of "Hot Leads Cold Cases" on CBS and Para-X Radios on Fridays, 8-9PM ET, interviews astronomer Seth Shostak, Senior Scientist at the SETI Institute about his efforts to listening to the sounds and noises in outer space in hopes of hearing a faraway communication from extraterrestrial intelligence. Dr. Shostak is convinced that we will hear from ETs within the next 24 years!By the same token, his is a skeptic when it comes to any claims of UFOs, contact or abductions by ETs, or any type of existing evidence of ET communication. Dr. Shostak and Nancy talk about the unusual array of 42 satellite telescopes at SETI trained on a large portion of the galaxy and listening for any radio waves hitting them. Dr. Shostak talks about some false starts when he thought he had finally heard the sounds of alien communication. He and Nancy also talk about whether all the crop circles in England constituted a message from ETs in response to the famous Arecibo message sent from humans into outer space in 1974.
