Episode 633: Tears and Masculinity

Today’s podcast’s roots lie in my wedding experience over the weekend. There is definitely a strong social norm against men crying in public. I’ve felt it since I was a very young boy, and recent reflections over the past few years have helped me to understand that crying is independent of strength (depending on how it’s handled).
