Growing up near the legendary Farnborough Airport in England, Rich had the dream of being in the Royal Air Force from a very young age. When he thought that dream was realized, personnel issues in the RAF led him to make the tough decision to follow his love for aviation on another path. Rich tells us about that path and his amazing opportunities and experiences including talking an Italian air base commander into allowing busloads of AVGEEKS on base to photograph the final operational F-104 Starfighters and his sunset air to air photo shoot of the F-117 Nighthawk just two weeks prior to their retirement.
