Episode 64 - Deitre
from The Rodent Hour Hosted by Matt Attack
DEITRE is a provocative new wave Glam Rock band rooted in NYC, drenched in its cultural revolution. As a result, this art-rock power-pop pair develop a space that feels less like another rock band, and more like an all-encompassing queer-empowered troupe of socially entwined, gender-blended performers. Committed to their grassroots approach of distributing raw entertainment directly to the people, they have gained trust and devotion in climbing numbers, igniting once dormant themes of rage, faith, sexuality, and self-worth through the ethereal sounding Rock experience of the DEITRE doctrine. https://deitre.bandcamp.com/ Thurston Ray - "Love is love" The Lord Calverts - "I don't love you anymore" Deitre - "Sugar 'n' Spice" Set break — Interview with Deitre Deitre - "feeling good" The Lord Calverts - "Fit to be Tied" Set break — Interview with Deitre Deitre - "I'm out" Thurston Ray - "you remind me" Set break — Interview with Deitre Deitre - "jesse" Secret Nudist Friends - "Triangle" The Rodent Hour plays independent rock 'n' roll from Brooklyn & beyond every Monday evening at 8PM (UTC-4), only on Radio Free Brooklyn.
