Dr. Gilbert Simoni is an interventional gastroenterologist and natural orifice surgeon in Thousand Oaks, California. Upon receiving his medical degree from the AUC School of Medicine, Dr. Simoni went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Seton Hall University where he was asked to also serve as a Chief Resident. He then went on to complete his Gastroenterology/Hepatology fellowship at Seton Hall University and UMDNJ. Dr. Simoni founded Advanced Gastroenterology, Inc. (AGI) in 2006, which has been in the spotlight for its patient satisfaction, use of latest technology, and providing the most advanced options available in diagnosis and treatment of digestive conditions. The mission of AGI is to build patient trust and to be the catalyst for a healthier lifestyle through prevention, early detection, and its innovative approach to GI care. The AGI team is also known for its friendly and gentle bedside manner, communication, and responsiveness. The practice is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area including Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, West Hills Hospital, Simi Valley Hospital, and St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
