Episode 64 - Jessie Davis

from The Minds of Madness - True Crime Stories · host Grip Tape

In the summer of 2007, a very pregnant twenty-six-year-old Jessie Davis was eagerly preparing for the arrival of her daughter Chloe. She was thrilled her two-year-old son Blake would soon have a baby sister. Jessie was a single mother with a good job and a great support system. She loved being a mother and made it the center of her world. On June 14th, Jessie went shopping at a local market and chatted with her mom on the phone. However, later that day no one could get ahold of Jessie. How to support:For extra perks including extra content, early release, and ad-free episodes -Go to - PatreonHow to connect:WebsiteInstagramFacebookTwitterMusic Credits:The Minds Of Madness Theme Music – Duncan FosterThe Funkoars – Feel The MadnessUsed with Permission - http://goldenerarecords.com.au/ge/funkoars/Christine Penhale https://thetruecrimefiles.com/ Featured Podcasts:Crime and Scandal -  https://audioboom.com/channel/thehaleighcummingsmystery Sources:“Ohio mother who forgave daughter’s killer fights for his release.” NBC4i.com, June 18, 2017. https://www.nbc4i.com/news/ohio-mother-who-forgave-daughters-killer-fights-for-his-release/ “Convicted killer Bobby Cutts reflects on 10th anniversary of Jessie Davis murder.” Akron Beacon Journal, June 15, 2017. https://www.beaconjournal.com/akron/news/convicted-killer-bobby-cutts-reflects-on-10th-anniversary-of-jessie-davis-murder“Bobby Cutts Jr.: I was selfish.” CantonRep.com, June 13, 2017. https://www.cantonrep.com/news/20170613/bobby-cutts-jr-i-was-selfish “U.S. Supreme Court rejects appeal from killer ex-cop Bobby Cutts Jr.” Cleveland.com, May 17, 2010. https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2010/05/us_supreme_court_rejects_appea.html “Appeals court upholds conviction of Bobby Cutts Jr. in Jessie Davis murder.” The Plain Dealer, July 22, 2009. https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2009/07/appeals_court_upholds_convicti.html “State of Ohio v.
