Episode 64: Let's Try It A Different Way: A Compilation
from THE CAREER CATAPULT
Let's try this a different way I know you worked tremendously hard to get to where you are now in your career. You may have - Worked 13 hour days - Pulled countless all nighters to complete projects and presentations. - Sacrificed taking full vacations - Rearranged family plans to accommodate work expectations - Hopped on several planes with little notice to solve problems You may then think to yourself… - If this is what it took me to get to this level of Sr. Manager or Director … - Can I really do 2X to get to the next level? - Do I even still have that much drive left in me? - Can I do 2X the the long hours? 2X the stress and overwhelm? I want you to know… YOU DO NOT HAVE TO! This idea that you need to put in twice the hours to get to VP or SVP To have more impact in your career To make $500K in total comp It is a myth. A lie. There is another way. You can work smarter, not harder! This week, we have pulled snippets from past episodes that will help you reframe your thinking around this.
