Episode 65 - Climate Change, Concert Etiquette, and ”It Was a Different Time.”
from I Hate Music
You can't deny this episode. From protest music of the '60's, to punk, thrash metal, and grindcore, musicians and artists have been warning us about climate change for decades, but why aren't we listening? We have no idea but we sure love the music. We discuss politics in music and environmentally aware bands like Nuclear Assault, and D.R.I, as well as discuss climate changes within music such as the "Weirding of Norway" or when metal bands turned to alternative music in the '90's for inspiration. We play a few of our favorite songs that fit within the aforementioned topics, and discuss pressing issues like the best first date metal concerts, concert etiquette, and tolerance of bands evolving into something that they weren't initially.*Please visit our Linktree to access our Spotify playlist featuring songs we play on the show, as well as related songs.
