Episode #65: “Purpose Through Pain” featuring Paul Avila

In this episode we sit down with Paul Avila of Pauly’s Project. We talk about how his life was drastically changed after the birth of his son, Pauly. He shares how as a young father it was difficult to navigate the struggles of having a son not only born blind but also autistic and non-verbal. Where most people have solutions, research, groups or organizations to turn to, there was nothing for him and his son. Through times of anger, frustration, hopelessness and pain he conveys how they figured it out through nothing more than trial and error. Although most would have quit, Paul found strength to find purpose through the struggle. That purpose has made an impact on lives in the homeless community.
