Episode 66

Back in the spring, I started following a website and thought to myself “This writer would make a pretty good guest on The Matineecast”. Then in the summer, she came out to join a group of us for a few drinks and some Verhoeven and my hunch was confirmed. So when time came to finally get her on the show, and the Gods of scheduling seemed to be conspiring against me, I dared to defy them…because there was no way I wasn’t getting her on. Amusingly, the topic du jour is actually a “jour” or two past its best-before date, but the conversation was still a lot of fun and is well worth the listen. So while TIFF is in the air and all eyes turning towards the autumn, join me for one of the last kicks at summer with a wonderfully energetic guest.
