He is a former congressional candidate, a frequent progressive political commentator for Real America’s Voice, and now a regenerative farmer. His second book, Last Chance to Save American Democracy, was published weeks before the 2020 election. In the conversation we discuss the crucial role democracy plays in global stability, and the immediate threats it faces.
