Episode 66: Divination Class

Welcome class! Time to broaden our minds, use our inner eye to see the future!- Hermione Granger, mocking Professor Trelawney. Time for Divination lessons! Have you ever had your tarot cards or tea leaves read? gone to see a psychic or consulted a magic 8 ball? then you're probably as fascinated by fortune-telling as we are! We dived into the origins (older than you think!) of tarot cards and the more modern Oracle decks. From the classic to the rare, there are so many cool decks you can buy! Tell us your favorites! Alanna also covered the history of runestones, and rune casting. That crazy Odin was quite a God, we tell ya! Of course he was involved. Kelsey's teaches us all about tea leaf reading, and for one of the most world-wide divination practices, it's surprisingly not that well known. Did you know you can read other dregs from drinks other than tea? No? better give it a listen and learn a little bit about tea-leaf reading and all it's rites and rituals. Fancy a cuppa with Castles & Cryptids? 😋
