Welcome to episode 66 of Music in the Minor League! This week, we're talking to Scott Schaafsma of Kerosene Stars. We first heard Kerosene Stars when they played with MiML alums, Junebird, last year. We've seen them quite a few times since then and even had the opportunity to play a show with them recently. So, it just made sense to hassle Scott about doing an episode of the podcast.Kerosene Stars is an American power-pop/rock band originally formed in Chicago, IL. Then, in 2023, Scott moved to the Houston area and started a new version of the band. The catch is that he never broke up the Chicago version, so both branches of the band operate simultaneously and perform in their own regions depending on where Scott is. It's a pretty cool concept.
