Episode 664: Rewarding is Harder than Punishing

I’ve noticed how much easier it is to instinctively react to something with criticism in comparison to instinctively giving positive reinforcement for behaviors in others. This especially applies to people with whom we have more rocky and challenging relationships, along with people with whom we share a lot of intimacy (but less so in that case, in my experience).
