Episode 67: Doug and Douger
from Clearing The Queue Hosted by Matt Bogdanow and Alex Popkin
Matty, Alex, and Doug have one task: to find a pre-1991 movie that imagines a future which, in 2018, has already passed, and *doesn't* star a straight white male. Will they follow the letter of the law, or the spirit of the law? And can they do it without being consumed by "absolute energy?" Tune in to find out! PLUS: A cameo from Popcast favorite Justin Linde. QUEUE CONTENDERS: "Akira" (1988), "Alien Nation" (1988), "The Apple" (AKA "Star Rock") (1980) Clearing The Queue is made with Jetpack Podcast.
