Having appeared on tracks with the likes of Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi and Ty Dolla $ign among others he has built an incredible body of solo works that have helped him over the last decade keep his movement and journey under his own independent control. He joins us this week to recap most his career up to this point including his origins in Surf Club, his time with HS87, and some of his favorite projects to work on such as 2014’s “Crowned” which caught the attention of Russel Simmons and All Def Digital giving Kent a platform to bring the tracks to life through a series of visual art pieces. With a new album in that is three years in the making he’s been in the studio with Hit-Boy, Jansport J and our former guest HazeBanga who are helping him carve out the next chapter of his story. As huge fans of his work this was nothing short of a milestone and we welcome Kent back anytime as his success and fortitude continues to grow organically!
