It's a tough question: "When is the right time to leave college coaching?" It's a question that gets thought about frequently, but discussed openly among coaches rarely. Why? Pride, ego, and job preservation. If your staff or athletic director knew you were thinking about leaving the profession, they might assume you've just lost the heart and drive to succeed in the job, and look for a replacement. But the question itself is important. This is your life, Coach, and being in charge of what you do with that life is up to you. On today's episode, we talk to former Division I assistant coach Chris Passmore, who left his job as a college coach a few years ago and has found a side of living that he hadn't known before.
